We wind our way to the world renowned Kruger National Park. Here we enjoy a truly authentic Wild African experience as you spend some time in a private safari lodge. Experience the big 5 in their natural environment and on their terms.\nRiding on from our Adventure in the Kruger\, we head south towards the KwaZulu-Natal province. The route takes us through small towns steeped in history\, offering a glimpse of Zulu culture and heritage offering a look at the epic clashes of South Africa’s past.The beauty of this region lies in its diversity—lush forests\, golden beaches\, and the dramatic Drakensberg Mountains.\nStarting the next phase of our journey we head inland to the Karoo\, the expansive semi-desert region that embodies the rugged spirit of South Africa. Here\, the landscape is dotted with arid plains and sparse vegetation\, offering a sense of isolation that only adds to the adventure. The long\, open roads stretch ahead like an invitation to explore\, and the skies at night reveal a mesmerizing starlit expanse. We spend some time in small\, charming towns enjoying the Victorian-era architecture and a slow pace of life that invites reflection.\nAfter a few chilled out days our journey takes us towards one of the most iconic stretches of South Africa: The Garden Route. This leg of the journey offers the best of both worlds: peaceful coastal roads and vibrant\, lush surroundings. DESCRIPTION:De Wildt is one of Gauteng’s premier offroad playgrounds. \nLocated just north of Pretoria\, the DeWildt ride traverses public and private land. With a great mixture of constantly changing terrain this ride promises to test your off-road riding skills. While much of the ride follows single track and animal pathways which twist and wind their way through the bush\, you also get to ride rocks\, (Skill level dependent)\, mud\, thick sand in many of the dry riverbeds\, some fast and flowing to tight and technical. This is a ride you will fondly remember. It just gives you that feeling of deep satisfaction\, that you have completed something epic and special. \nDistance \n52km-122km depending on skill level \n Estimated ride time \n5 Hours \nIncluded in the tour \n\nGuide/s\nMeal\n\nExcluded from tour \n\nMotorcycle\nRiding Gear\nFuel\nOil\nDrinks\nTransport to and from venue\nTips and Gratuities\nBike recovery\nMedical Insurance\n\nBike preparation. \nA significant portion of the vegetation in DeWildt consists of Acacia thorn bush. It is imperative that riders wishing to join this ride run Mousse or Tubeliss systems in the tyres. Heavy duty tubes and Slime do not work. Don’t be that rider that gets stranded because of a flat. \nWe also recommend that riders mount handguards onto the handlebars to prevent your hands from being peppered by thorns. \nMX Bikes are welcome but may suffer in the tighter sections due to the gear ratios. This\, ride is not suitable for adventure style bikes or Quad bikes \nWe Recommend a bash plate and Pipe guard \nWhat to bring \n\nYour own well maintained off road motorcycle.\nMobile phone\nA backpack with a suitable drinking system containing at least one litre of hydration. We recommend you mix in some Re-Hydrate as a precaution. Summer days can be taxing if not properly hydrated.\nCash for refreshments at the halfway pointCash for Fuel.Two Stroke oil for refuel if needed.\nA full tank of fuel or enough to cover at least 60km. Refuel points available on the route\nGood Off-Road style motorcycle Helmet. Open face is not recommended. No helmet no ride\nGood set of goggles\nProtective Motocross style Boots only- No casual style boots. You will break your ankle.
