Many people shy away from a motorcycle tour, especially in Africa, as they have a misconception or misguided image of a motorcycle overloaded with bags, sleeping in a small tent in the middle of the bush.
In our case nothing could be further from the truth.

We also understand that not everybody shares our love of motorcycling and sometimes couples or groups travelling together struggle to agree on the mode of travel.

Don't let that stop you.

Our tours are accompanied by a support vehicle that follows the bikes. This makes it easier for the adventure to be enjoyed by those that don’t ride.
While we cannot control what the weather may do or what surprises the wildlife may throw at us, we work hard together with our partners to ensure that each experience is a positive and memorable one. Our adventures are carefully crafted to ensure you are comfortable at all times.

This tour is suited to the rider/traveller who enjoys a mix of wide open spaces, peaceful natural surroundings while also appreciating the exciting raw wildness of Africa. Regretfully travellers must be over the age of 12 to participate in this tour.

Starting from Cape Town, the vibrant, cosmopolitan hub at the tip of Africa, your motorcycle tour takes you on an unforgettable ride along one of the world’s most celebrated coastal routes—the Garden Route.

Set against Table Mountain’s iconic silhouette the streets of Cape Town pulse with a mix of history, culture, and modern vibrancy. We spend time riding along the Cape Peninsula’s well maintained road infrastructure, taking time to appreciate the beauty of the natural surroundings and rugged coastline. We travel through small seaside villages, visit the Cape Point nature reserve before heading out to enjoy the freedom of the open road, and enjoy the sweeps and turns as we ride through the numerous mountain passes that offer panoramic views of the surrounding valleys below.

Heading inland we ride through the arid heartland of the Karoo where time feels suspended, and the vastness of the landscape invites a deep connection with nature and self. Each small town you pass reveals a piece of its soul, and a timeless charm. But it’s the landscape that steals your breath away. When night falls, the Karoo reveals another world—a starry sky so vast and clear that it feels like the universe is within reach

This 21-day motorcycle adventure across South Africa is a soul-stirring experience, offering travellers a chance to feel the pulse of the country, embrace its natural beauty. This epic journey begins in Johannesburg, where the bustling urban life gives way to the tranquil beauty of South Africa’s diverse landscapes.

We first make our way northwards and experience some of the vast open savannahs. We wind our way to the world renowned Kruger National Park. Here we enjoy a truly authentic Wild African experience as you spend some time in a private safari lodge. Experience the big 5 in their natural environment and on their terms.

Riding on from our Adventure in the Kruger, we head south towards the KwaZulu-Natal province. The route takes us through small towns steeped in history, offering a glimpse of Zulu culture and heritage offering a look at the epic clashes of South Africa’s past.The beauty of this region lies in its diversity—lush forests, golden beaches, and the dramatic Drakensberg Mountains.

Starting the next phase of our journey we head inland to the Karoo, the expansive semi-desert region that embodies the rugged spirit of South Africa. Here, the landscape is dotted with arid plains and sparse vegetation, offering a sense of isolation that only adds to the adventure. The long, open roads stretch ahead like an invitation to explore, and the skies at night reveal a mesmerizing starlit expanse. We spend some time in small, charming towns enjoying the Victorian-era architecture and a slow pace of life that invites reflection.

After a few chilled out days our journey takes us towards one of the most iconic stretches of South Africa: The Garden Route. These winding roads lead you through ancient forests, past rolling hills, and along the stunning coastline. We visit charming towns such as George, Knysna, and Plettenberg Bay. This leg of the journey offers the best of both worlds: peaceful coastal roads and vibrant, lush surroundings. You’ll cross through magical landscapes—forests, mountains, and beaches—that make this one of the most memorable parts of the trip.

Our adventure continues onto Route 62, known as South Africa’s answer to Route 66. Winding through the Western Cape’s heartland, the route takes us past awe-inspiring vineyards, where some wine tasting is definitely on the menu. For the really Adventurous a short ride on an Ostrich can be added to your bucket list

The final leg of this extraordinary journey brings us to Cape Town, the jewel of South Africa’s western coast. As we ride into the city, Table Mountain stands proudly ahead, a symbol of the triumphs of your journey. The streets of Cape Town offer a blend of rich history, vibrant culture, and breathtaking coastal scenery. We enjoy our last day riding along the famous Chapman’s Peak Drive, and explore the Cape of Good Hope Nature reserve.
