Maluti 1 – FULLY BOOKED

Set against the backdrop of the majestic Maluti Mountains, in the heart of the Eastern Free State and bordering on Lesotho, the rugged and challenging dirt bike trails around Clarens and Fouriesburg offer an unforgettable off-road adventure that pushes the limits of both rider and machine as they wind through some of the most remote and awe-inspiring landscapes.
The terrain is a true test for riders seeking both thrill and beauty. These trails take you through an ever-changing environment that demands focus, skill, and resilience. Steep mountain passes, rocky paths, and deep ravines will challenge even the most experienced riders, while offering moments of pure exhilaration as you conquer each obstacle. The diverse nature of the trails ensures that there’s something for every rider.
The towering peaks and rugged beauty of the Maluti Mountains serve as a constant, majestic presence on the horizon, contrasted against the vibrant painted shades of green, gold and red of the rocky outcrops and deep gorges. The rocky hillsides and winding dirt tracks force you to be fully present in the moment, making each ride an adventure that stretches your limits and rewards you with a deep sense of achievement. With the demanding climbs and descents that the area is known for, many local and international riders use this area as a training ground for the “Roof Of Africa”, known as the mother of Hard Enduro.
Whether you are an adrenaline driven rock rabbit or a chilled out weekend warrior that enjoys the vast open skies our trails offer something for you.

Bike preparation
We always recommend that riders wishing to join this ride run Mousse or Tubeliss systems in the tyres. However we have done a number of rides using heavy duty tubes and Slime. We cannot guarantee that you won’t get stranded because of a flat.
We also recommend that riders mount handguards onto the handlebars to prevent your hands from being peppered by thorns.
MX Bikes are welcome but may suffer in the tighter sections due to the gear ratios. This, ride is not suitable for adventure style bikes or Quad bikes
We Recommend a bash plate and Pipe guard
